Terms of Service

Definitions:
Welcome to Castellan Sitters LLC. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of our house and pet sitting services. By booking or using our services, you ("Client") agree to be bound by these Terms. Definitions
● "Castellan Sitters LLC" – Refers to the company providing pet sitting and related services.
● "Client" – Refers to the individual or entity booking or using the services of Castellan Sitters LLC.
● "Services" – Refers to all pet sitting and related offerings provided by Castellan Sitters LLC.
● "Sitter" – Refers to the individual assigned by Castellan Sitters LLC to provide care for the Client’s pet(s).
● "Booking" – Refers to a scheduled appointment for services, agreed upon between the Client and Castellan Sitters LLC.
● "Pet(s)" – Refers to any animal(s) owned by the Client and placed in the care of Castellan Sitters LLC.
Services Provided:
The Company offers pet sitting services as described on our website or as agreed upon with the Client. These Services may include, but are not limited to: [Let outs/visits, day-sitting, house sitting, farm sitting, farm visits, overnight stays, pet transportation]. The specific details of the Services, including dates, times, and fees, will be outlined in a separate booking confirmation.
Bookings and Payment
● All services must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.
● Full payment is required no later than 24 hours before the start of the scheduled service.
● Failure to make payment within this timeframe may result in cancellation of the booking.
● Castellan Sitters LLC reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
Refund Policy
Castellan Sitters LLC does offer refunds under certain circumstances. If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible. Refunds may be issued based on the timing of the cancellation:
● Full refund if canceled more than 48 hours before the scheduled service.
● Partial refund (50%) if canceled within 24–48 hours of the scheduled service.
● No refund for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the service start time.
If Castellan Sitters LLC is unable to provide a sitter, a full refund will be issued regardless of timing.
Client Responsibilities
● Clients must disclose all relevant information about their pet(s), including medical conditions, behavioral issues, and any special care instructions.
● Pets must be up-to-date on vaccinations and free from contagious illnesses.
● Clients must ensure safe access to the property and provide necessary supplies for the pet(s) during the service period.
● Clients are required to disclose the presence of any security cameras or surveillance devices on the property, including their location and whether they record audio.
● Castellan Sitters LLC reserves the right to decline or terminate service if surveillance equipment is not disclosed.
Limitation of Liability
● Castellan Sitters LLC is not responsible for any loss, injury, illness, or death of any pet while under our care.
● We are not liable for any damage to the Client’s home, property, or belongings unless caused by gross negligence on the part of the Service Provider.
● Castellan Sitters LLC is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to the Client’s property during the course of providing services.
● Clients agree to hold Castellan Sitters LLC harmless from any and all claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from our services.
Emergency Care
In the event of a pet emergency, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the Client. If the Client cannot be reached, we reserve the right to seek veterinary care at the Client’s expense.
Privacy Policy
Castellan Sitters LLC respects your privacy. We do not share client information with third parties except as necessary to provide services or as required by law.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.
Acceptance of Terms
By submitting the booking form and providing your signature, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
